About Lake Boren Park

Features looped walking paths, children's play area, picnic shelters, fishing dock, restrooms, two tennis courts, a basketball court, a sand volleyball court, and a parking lot. Community Events held at Lake Boren include: Concerts in the Park Series, 4th of July and Newcastle Days. Picnic shelters are available for use by first reserving the date by phone and then submitting a reservation form to City Hall.
